Let’s honor our new members from the past year in style. This includes confirmands, Baptisms, transfers, and all new members at St. John’s. Please plan to attend the New Member Banquet on Sunday, October 20, following the 10;30am service. This will be a sit-down meal hosted by the Evangelism Board, with some fun, games, and entertainment as well.

St. John's Lutheran Church & School to host their first-ever Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 30, from 4:30-6:30pm.

The Red Letter Challenge is a 40-day discipleship challenge being offered at St. John's this fall!

Are you a fan or a follower of Jesus Christ? Come join us as our fall Men's and Women's early morning small group Bible studies reconvene to tackle this question by using Kyle Idleman's study entitled "Not A Fan". Both men and women will meet for six weeks beginning at 6:30am on Tuesday, October 1 (men) and Thursday, October 3 (women) in St. John's Social Hall.

Another year of Junior Confirmation Classes is underway. Our confirmation students, along with at least one parent, meet once a week to cover topics such as the 10 commandments, the Sacrament of the Altar, The Lord's Prayer, and what it means to be a member of The Body of Christ. Second year students will share their Statements of Faith on January 19, 2020 and will confirm their faith on Sunday, February 2. For more information about our Confirmation Classes, contact the church office at (616) 842-4510 or office@sjlcs.org
