  • Blessing of the Bibles

    On the weekend of January 10/11, we will be doing a Blessing of the Bibles in our worship services. Please bring your personal Bible to be blessed! And have your children bring their Bibles!

  • Flower Basket Fundraiser

    January 1 - February 1

    The Flower Basket Fundraiser to support St. John's Youth is back. Flower options include geraniums, ivy geraniums, impatiens, fuchsia, and tuberous begonia. Baskets cost $20 each. Pre-ordering runs Jan. 1 – Feb. 1 Baskets will be available for pick-up May 8 (Mother’s Day Weekend). Thank you to Bosch's Best Bushes for their partnership and support!

  • Sanctity of Life Weekend

    Please join the Life Team in celebrating the Sanctity of Life this month.

     Life Sunday will be celebrated Jan. 17 & 18 at all services. Please visit our displays for free information and resources to help you with speaking truthfully and lovingly with your neighbors about life as seen through a Biblical lens.

  • Annual Chili Cook-off

    February 15, 11:30 a.m.

    St. John’s Lutheran School Gym

    Make plans now to attend and participate in this year’s Chili Cook-off. Cost for adults will be $5.00, and cost for children, 12 and under, is $2.00. Babies and toddlers are free. All proceeds will go to the St. John’s Day School Scholarship Fund. Our goal for this year is $600.00. We are looking for 15 to 20 people to enter their favorite Chili. You may sign up in the Social Hall or on-line. Details of this event will be displayed in the Social Hall and on the Fellowship bulletin board. We will also need additional workers to help serve the chili.

    Mackinac Island

    The 2026 Sr. High Gathering is on Mackinac Island June 28-July 1, 2026.  A youth participant is any current (2025-2026) 8th-12th grade student.  Cost per student is $250  (includes: registration fee, lodging ,food and transportation).  Registration opens in January.  Let me know if you have any questions.
